We weren't on vacation but we were preparing for the arrival of our baby. So I tagged along with him going from one place to another to get his police report done. Maybe that's why I went into labour 12 days earlier than original estimated day. hahahaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-168102153064280986.post-15817444513380375972007-08-09T18:59:00.000-04:002007-08-09T18:59:00.000-04:00Nice to have you back, Ming!My disaster story - ar...Nice to have you back, Ming!

My disaster story - arriving in Paris with a credit card that my bank forgot to activate! They were particularly expensive so I wasn't too upset about it.

Keropokman - I had the same situation in Beijing so I went to the shopping mall and bought an adapter/plug for 20 yuan (US$2.50).Ming the Mercilesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09957918533010735599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-168102153064280986.post-64906632957134672962007-08-08T05:27:00.000-04:002007-08-08T05:27:00.000-04:00I'm happy to see that there is nothing too catastr...I'm happy to see that there is nothing too catastrophic told yet. Loved your photos from your trip, Ming.

In response to your question, the most inconvenient thing that happened recently was at an airport in the UK. At security I had to take everything out of my bag. I put my portable phone on one side and it wasn't till I was in the plane and went to turn it off, that I realised I'd not picked it up. Another passenger called the number and someone answered. He said I'd have to send someone else to pick it up. Well it took two days to get it, long story - they wouldn't give it to the person collecting it friend without proof that I'd told him to do so. Meanwhile, of course I was back in France with no portable phone - which I needed. Eventually it got to me via FedEx be week later. I won't do that again in a hurry.Jillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08059152467099868300noreply@blogger.com
