Theme Photo: Bridge

This month theme photo is a bridge. This photo was taken on the paestrian and bicycle path on Queensborough Bridge, which connects Queens to Manhattan. You can see the new metal and the old concrete structures of the bridge here.

    You can feel the massiveness of this structure from this view.

    I can also imagine the traffic sound beside it. I presume next to it is where cars zoom past. :-)

  21. Wow, that's great. First what a dedication: you climb up there to get this view? Second, the contrast between the old metal and the new metal almost looks as if one part of the picture was in b&w while the other was kept in color. Great effect!.
