I am not on the list of blogs that are participating in this month's theme photo because I forgot to add my name to the list last month. Nonetheless, I am posting a photo for the theme.
This photo was taken inside the subway train and the sign warns passengers not to hold the doors when it is closing. Unfortunately, many people disregard the sign and hold the doors anyway.
Happy Theme Day everyone.
aah...I have yet to participate. Theme Day sounds like fun but a challenge.
ReplyDeleteHappy July, Ming!
mind the gap!
ReplyDeleteThat must hurt, if they insist on disregarding this sign!
ReplyDeleteOK. I'd rather hold hands :)
ReplyDeleteI had do not rather than no too. It's a universal sign, but again you'd think peoeple would know not to hold onto them wouldn't you!
ReplyDeletepas bête comme recommandation, on dirait une publicité pour un péplum.
ReplyDeletenot as stupid recommendation, it looks like an advertisement for a péplum.
nice one ming
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck - who cares if you are registered: certainly not I.
ReplyDeleteI like the image of Atlas holding the doors ajar ...
I like the little guy in the graphic. You know, there are times something just makes me laugh. . . like that graphic. Without the wording, I don't think I'd have any idea what it meant.
ReplyDeleteOh - I find it so irritating when people don't do what the signs say! Don't you? My post is quite similar, actually - someone else breaking the rules...
ReplyDeleteSo will the subway still move with the doors open if people dont shut them? Or will it beep loudly or not run that way? :) thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe alarm would beep until someone lets go of the doors -- like an elevator. It would be dangerous if the train moves before the doors close.
ReplyDeleteUgh..I hateh when people do that! And I hate when people get on the train and crowd the door, so that other people can't get on, and when it's time for other people to get off the train, these people don't get out of the way!! Grrrr...
ReplyDeleteI often ignore signs. It makes me feel like a rebel.
ReplyDeleteHow does one join in on the theme?
You mean NY is no better than London?
ReplyDeleteNice to have yr recent visits Ming. Tks.
I'll bet a lot of people ignore that one - good catch, that fits NY.
ReplyDeleteSometimes that just happens. Hey your bag gets stuck as you take a flying leap to make that tube.
ReplyDeleteGlad you joined in! I'd be to worried about falling out of the train to hold the doors open!
ReplyDeleteHappy Theme Day :)
My backpack got stuck once in a French gate when I was getting off the train to Disneyland there....they had to come extract me!
ReplyDeleteI'm on those trains everyday, and everyday, someone inadvertently holds the door. Nothing you can do.
ReplyDeleteLOL! A very familiar sign for me. ;-)
ReplyDeletePaz
We have similar signs in the trains here too.
ReplyDeleteBut sometimes if the train's so packed like in Spore, you need to hold on the doors, if not you will fall.
Happy Theme Day
Great post, Ming. I'd think this would be very hard to do actually. I'm in Utah at the momen t so can really answer yhour question about hot days! Answer: swim.
ReplyDeleteNicely done Ming...great theme sign...
