Self-Portrait at the MET

I was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art yesterday and I saw this fascinating artwork by Indian born British artist, Anish Kapur who created a concave shaped dish made entirely out of stainless steel. Upon seeing my images on the reflective surface, I quickly took out the camera and started taking photos of myself.

    Love the photo - love the reflection of the people behind you! Nice photography!
    Hmmm.... I can't remember the last time I took a photo of myself (maybe 2 yrs. ago.) I have a disorder that gives me high anxiety to even look in the mirror, let alone take my own photo. Weird huh?

    Cool concept!! Not to mention it's just a fun idea and image. Very nice.

    I play with reflections from time to time. Most of the time, though, I try to keep myself OUT of the photo. -:)

    Cool Shot.. The last time I took picture of myself.. well probably a month ago.
    I seldom keep those pictures though.. cos they always turned out to be out of focus :P

    I last took a photograph of myself in a mirror on a building in Monaco - not good...

    I do not really like to take photos of myself.

    This effect is great - almost like ripples forming on a puddle of water!

    I sometimes take photos of myself with my macbook's camera....then use some of the effects with interesting results.
