You Don't Bring Me Flowers Anymore

This is a macro shot of some flowers I saw at Central Park this weekend. It would appear that Spring is here but then we had a burst of cold weather on Sunday and Monday.

So what is the weather like where you are at?

The weather is nice here in MN. Nice for April. My parents live in Bemidji, MN and they had 23" of snow on Sunday. The most snow they have had a one time this entire year!

  10. I can see that Paris is just a little bit earlier with the spring. I showed some similar (not referring to the quality of your excellent photo) blue and yellow shots from "my" Paris parks already a while ago!

  11. Did you get down on your hands and knees for that shot? Lovely. Spring is making herself known.
The weather here in S Ontario? Sunny yesterday, about 16C.
Today.... rain is forcast, but that's OK, it will melt the last remaining vestiges of snowbanks and then Spring can arrive in full force.

  12. The weather in Minneapolis, Minnesota basically stinks the last few days. It teased us last week, got up to 60 degrees and we all smiled...then it dipped back down to a big 35 degrees and cloudy again. Maybe rain and snow coming. So if you have flowers growing-outside even-it's all good for you! At least 90% of our snow has melted.

    Spring--come back!!
Nice shot, by the way. Daffodils are the best yellow flower:)

  13. Lovely! Mother Nature continues to tease us in the Pacific NW. The Skagit Valley tulip festival opened a week ago sans tulips ... they'll be joining the party when they feel like it. In a word, it's Spring!
