Flower Power

I saw this elaborate mural outside a Mexican restaurant in the Lower East Side a couple weeks ago. It looked like the artist put a lot of time and effort into it and it's quite lovely. Sometimes, I wish I can draw but unfortunately, I'm still struggling with stick figure drawings.

What skills or talent do you wish you have?

  1. Right now I wish I was a bit more patient. Making the effort now while knowing that the reward won't come any time soon.

  2. That looks like a mandal, quite different from the usual graffiti. Very nice.

  6. That is a colourful image. My partner's a cartoonist, so not drawing for me. Play the guitar. One day I will get round to doing this. You've got me thinking now.

  8. Gosh, I wish I could paint like that. I also wish I were more talented at running. After all these years, and I can still barely break a 10-minute mile.

  9. Hmmm.. I'm not good at drawing myself but my two sisters are. But they don't cook or bake as well as I can, so I can't complain! At the moment I wish I could sing better though, cos' I'm not doing too well as a member of my Church worship team ;o(

  10. I wish I could play the electric guitar. Or any musical instrument for that matter.

  11. Powerful!

I wish I could draw and paint. Being a talented talker would be nice, too. I have only one wish, I guess.

  12. My undergraduate degree was in art, but I haven't painted in years. My studio apartment barely has room for an extra pencil.
