Cherry Hill Fountain

This is the Cherry Hill Fountain on the west side of Central Park near Strawberry Field. The buildings in the background are mostly apartment buildings on Central Park West. The flowers in the background are cherry blossom, I think.

So do you have cherry blossoms in your city?

  5. Yes, aren't they gorgeous? My dad was the one who pointed them out to me when he visited last year. Strange how I'd never noticed them.

I'd always known that they were all over DC, but I'd had no idea they were here in my own backyard as well!

  6. Are those lamps on top of the fountain? Whatever, I think this is beautiful!

No, no cherry trees whatsoever. I don't think they can survive our heat.

I had no idea there were two fountains in CP .. I thought Bethesda was the only one .. now I must go see this one for myself.
