It is mid-month subway theme day again. This photo was taken at the Queensborough Plaza subway station a couple weeks ago. Notice the guy on the far right looking at his phone as the train snakes by? I wish I had a complete picture of him but this photo cannot be re-shot.
Wonderful photo! I love how the purple of the "7" train is blurred as it whizzes by.
ReplyDeletetout en mouvement, c'est une réussite, j'adore
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Ming. You really do have an amazing eye!
ReplyDeleteI agree with teahouse about the whizzing action. As always, the night time is the right time.
ReplyDeleteHappy subway day !
This is a real nice shot! No need to go back for a re-shot! :-)
ReplyDeleteMing this pic is amazing, the colours are so vibrant love your work.
ReplyDeleteI like that he is not totally in the picture. Just the important bits to tell the story. Cell phone, coffee and face. The light is a weeny bit distracting. Such a great NY picture.
ReplyDeleteThat is a VERY large cup of coffee to have in the evening!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fullsome shot, Ming. The train, the bloke, the moon and the structure of that sign backwards. To me it shouts "CITY".
I know I have been dormant, but every time you post a subway shot I always feel the desire to jump back into the game.
ReplyDeleteThe silvercup skyline is absolutely beautiful.
Great shot ..
ReplyDeleteDoes a Subway franchise count to join this group? Ha, ha... Life in a small town...
ReplyDeleteExciting remembering living in a big city, Ming.
You just caught the motion! It's a pity we have no subway in Verona...
ReplyDeleteThis photo has it all! Great action and human interest and a view to boot!
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done, Ming. This image as a wonderful feel to it and the hint of time the partial figure gives just enhances that idea. I'm not sure I'd really want more of the guy ...
ReplyDeleteNicely captured, Ming!
ReplyDeleteSuper nice! I like the contrast between the glare of the lights and the sharp buildings in the background.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Subway Day Ming!
ReplyDeleteFinally my post is up as well...
I don't mind to see only half of this guy on the photo, I think it is a complete picture, full of motion, despite of the night time. Great!
