Broadway & 14th Street

The weather yesterday was absolutely beautiful -- it was probably our best weekend of the year so far. So you can imagine the number of people out and about on the street after hibernating indoors for the last 4 months. This shot was taken at the southern edge of Union Square looking down Broadway (Avenue).

    Our weather is wonderful Ming. Temps in the 70's , just perfect. This is a big ole crowd. Guess you're use to it huh??? Glad you're weather's nice as well.

    I'd so love to be in the mid of this crowd in NY!!What an amazing city...
    Weather here was incredibly warm until a few days ago (peaks of 26°here). Now it's back to a normal 16°-18° during the day, blue sky/cloudy/little rain/sun...

    The weather is wonderful yet the crowds of people in New York are beyond comparison unless I head south to Tokyo or Osaka.

    Now if you'd been going in the opposite direction you might have crossed paths with Elizabeth and me .. we were at the Ninth Ave end of 14th ...

    I never heard Broadway ref'd to as an Avenue ... interesting .. I guess it is.

    my neck of the woods happens to be your neck of the woods.

    SOO many people about this weekend. all walking in crazy directions and stopping suddenly on the sidewalk.

    at least the beautiful weather made it worth it.

    Wow, that is a LOT of people to a country girl like me!!! I've just come back from the Sydney Royal Easter Show, I was there for three days and the last day was HECTIC, I'm not one for crowds!!! Weather-wise, it was extremely unstable down there, it would be beautiful and sunny one minute, and pouring rain the next. All 3 nights I was there it poured rain.
