I was at Central Park last weekend and flowers and trees were blooming everywhere. It's so refreshing to see colors again. It has been a long, cold winter for us in NYC.
So where would you go to see Spring flowers bloom?
Yeah, I've missed the color and the leaves, too. I'll be going on a group scooter ride to see the tulip fields near LaConner, about 60 miles north of Seattle on Sunday. I might even make a photo or two -:)
I live on the edge of a forest in England so there are spring blooms everywhere - it's beautiful. But if I had a choice of where to go and see some more it would be Central Park of course!
You know what I like about this photo? The BW effect in the background sets off the fabulous daffodils in full color. Mother Nature did a grand job setting this one up for you! V PS B'ham is in FULL bloom. I need only glance out my window.
I look out of my front window to see two big cherry trees in full bloom, and out the back there are daffodils. Soon I'll take a trip to the woods up the hill to see the bluebells that form a flowering carpet in May.
when i was in China, I saw the same thing, a lot of trees are literally bald, no leaves just stalks, and then i saw loads of plum flowers (china's national flower) blooming, really beautiful!
Nice shot , here the trees are also in bloom , that's great !
