Gay Man Trapped in A Fembot

This is an advertisement for Avedka Vodka that I saw on a telephone booth at Union Square. I thought it was different and yet innovative in a weird way. But most interestingly, I love the tag line: I'm a gay man trapped in the body of a fembot.

In the photo, you can see my reflection in the glass. I was carrying a white plastic bag with me. Inside the bag were two BIG bars of chocolate brownies with macadamia nuts that I just bought at the Union Square green market down the street. After this photo was taken, I went to the park and ate one of the brownies with a cup of chai latte from Starbucks.

Which do you prefer - brownies or chocolate chip cookies?

I'm laughing at this photo - though not at the idea of being trapped in a body one doesn't want. I guess I'll have a bite of brownie, thank you very much.

just kidding, i have never heard abuot this kind of vodka, I'm an absolutely Absolute girl ;)
But for early in the morning I'd rather take a chocolate bar and a piece of brioche!

My own brownies are not too bad, my cookies always stay a little flat, but I like both of them! Funny post!

Love chai latte and brownies!

I'll have to do a bit of research to understand what Fembot means, that's where my comand of English fails me.

OK, found out.
Interesting concept, selling the idea of being ahead of your time by consuming this product - yet being a fembot (moreover a gay man trapped in the body of a fembot !0)is it something to look fwd to?
Not convinced.
But then I'm not a vodka drinker, so...

Certainly gets people talking I suppose!

I prefer my brownies a lil' warm. But don't ask me to choose between choc-based food. Can I eat both?

Nathalie - I don't understand the ad myself. I just thought it was funny. Maybe someone can explain it to us.

Anyway Union Square is a really great place to sit on a bench, watch the people and chill out...

Hi Ming,

I just wanted to ask you something.
Well one of my favorite neighborhood in New York City is the old Fulton Fish Market near South Street Seaport and Schermerhorn Row. Well I heard today on NY1 that the Pier 17 shopping mall will likely be demolished !

Did you hear about it ? I'm a bit in shock because I think that Pier 17 is an icon of the city, a landmark...besides they want to build a taller building that will probably kill the perspective of Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge.

What do you think ?

Seems to be breaking new advertisting ground. I can't help but imagine the sheer cultural chaos that add would cause if placed on a bus terminal in my southern USA hometown...oh my...

Brownies should be rich, thick, gooey, and chocolatey! mmmmmmm....
