Photo Shoot in SoHo

I was walking down Prince Street in SoHo when I noticed something interesting going on here --two guys were photographing each other over the SUV parked in the middle of the street. I don't know if it was a photo shoot for an advertising campaign or just some tourists taking photos of each other in SoHo.

SoHo, short for South of Houston Street, is a hip neighborhood where some of the most popular cafes, restaurants and shops are located. It is also a place to see celebrities because a lot of famous people live here. I have bumped into Meg Ryan, Iman, Daniella Pestova, Claire Dane, Moby, Audrey Marnay and Andre Leon Talley here.

So have you ever met a celebrity?

Photographers photographed... I like how the rain adds a little drama to those cobblestones. Oh so Belgian, makes me feel home. ;)

I once saw Woody Allen crossing the street, not far away from Zabar's on the Upper West Side. Oh and Jerry Seinfeld in Central Park, with his dog, wife and baby. And that Irish guy from the Late Night Show, in Grand Central. Gosh he is tall! These were by happenstance.
Otherwise as I am a cinema lover, I see actors a lot at the Film Society at Lincoln Center, the Tribeca Film Festival, etc, or the NYU class Movies101. We are so spoiled, aren't we?

A Evry, on a pas beaucoup de vedette, a part notre maire ;o). Sinon j'ai eut le plaisir de rencontrer à Paris, le chanteur Higelin et le prendre en Photo

In Evry, there is not much high-speed motorboat, has share our mayor; O). If not I have had the pleasure of meeting in Paris, the Higelin singer and of taking it in Photograph

I like your photograph. It is a reminder of how we look in the street taking pictures of a car.

funny, I saw the same 2 guys this past Sunday chasing after some girl, possibly a celebrity, over at Bleecker street. Not surprising given the location.

I once bumped into our king while visiting a tiny outpost in our northern wilderness. The hotel happened to celebrate a jubilee, he happened to spend some vocational time trekking there and I happened to step of my train for my regular autumnal visit. He did have a couple of security staff with him but only a handful of people live there so including a few local journalists, some hotel staff and let's say 30 tourists we had a surprisingly informal moment. It’s a pity really that I was there and not someone else. I’m not much for our monarchy at all while quite a few others would give their left hand for such an opportunity. Sort of ironic!

the best thing about soho are the cobblestone streets. sometimes, i think back to hundreds of years ago when people walked on those same streets and rode over them on horse carriages.

I don't think I've ever seen a celebrity. The celecrities in Malaysia are just too busy to even go out dressed up as someone normal.

I once mingled in the same shop beside Cindy Crawford, in your city, in a very expensive boutique but I had no intention of buying a $600 t-shirt...

great story behind the photo!

My biggest celebrity sighting was when I bumped into Jerry Seinfeld at the top of the escalators at Barneys
