Hands Across America

Last Sunday, various New York City bloggers got together at Le Pain Quotidien to welcome Chuck of One A Day - Mostly Seattle to our city. We talked shop and politics, exchanged URLs of our websites and had a great time, in general.

Lisa of Gramercy Cafe posted a great photo of us at the restaurant. The other bloggers in the photo include (in no particular order) Elizabeth of About New York, Alexa of The Road is Mine, MissB in NYC and Eliane of NYC Daily Photo.

So have you met any of the other bloggers in your city?

I just love Fishs Eddy. Though it's dangerous for me, I always want to buy everything! Love the "glove molds." I guess they could make some interesting decorations.

We had such a fun gathering!!! You are a great organizer.

Those hands are sorta creepy...

so many hands!

DP bloggers, we met once or twice.

But for my food bloggers friends, we meet up more often. With food, there's always a great reason to meet up. LOL...

Why do the glazed and unglazed molds have the same price?

No need to answer that! ;D

I just came from the Gramercy Café blog — love the photo and love the idea of meeting up with fellow bloggers. We're currently 4 in Metro Manila but since MM is made up of 17 cities, we can use more. I'm going to try to organize a meet up for us in December, when Joy of Norwich UK, who is a Filipina, comes back for a visit. Steven of Cavite is near enough MM too. I hope they all agree.

a meeting nice to know three, it's hard chat ;o)).
Happy coincidence, yesterday I met a meeting of the council, another blogeuse Evry (but a good Evry, there are only 2 or 3 bloggers, it's not NYC ;o)) for the the first time.

I have yet to meet a single fellow blogger in person. I'm certainly not opposed to the idea, but it just hasn't happened yet!

Oh yeah Ming, bloggers from all over the world are flocking to Birmingham Alabama for their vacations instead of the usual Riviera, Paris, Italy etc.......

On the other hand, I am hoping to get to see Peter, Alice and Marie Reed while I am in Paris. I can hardly wait!

Is that the same store that Chuck featured yesterday? Cool.

Love your hands and love the photo of y'all meeting up in NYC. Ming, great disguise...

No, not met any other bloggers in my city cos there aren't any? I've met Sydney Daily Photo and Adelaide Daily photo tho - and that was great.

Am I the only one who finds this image of disembodied hands kind of creepy? ;-)

There are no other photo bloggers in Molfetta, but this is just a small provincial city sort of in the middle of nowhere in southern Italy.

Funny. I photographed those same hands at Fishes Eddy the other day when I was strolling by the store early on Sunday morning....

What a strange display. I've met one of the Sydney bloggers but I knew her before I started blogging and found CDP through her blog.

... and of course you were the one who took the photo, so your face is still unknown to me!

Sunday, we also met between some French bloggers! We meet regularly now! Nice! Last week I also met a very nice Malaysian blogger and later this week I will meet another French one...
