I shot this photo of Restaurant Felix on the corner of West Broadway and Grand Street last week. I've never eaten here before but I understand that it's an expensive restaurant with hipster cred(ibility).
So how do you categorize yourself? A hipster? An intellect?

hmmm...i love restaurants, especially the ones in NYC!
Nice photo, Ming. I believe I'm a hip, with it, oldster.
I ate there a few years ago and the waiter who served me had a real attitude.
To be fair, I don't know whether the attitude was just of that particular waiter or it is a reflection of the restaurant's overall attitude.
love you pics the one with the unmbrella lady and the snow is great ... heading to NYC Dec 24th!
you can visit me at Maeves Madness and see my pics of GreenWood Cemtery ... Brooklyn.
Anon - the reviews on Menupage.com said the waiters there are surly too. I guess it's the 'tude of the place.
A Senior who is trying to run with the hipsters:)
Love all the photos Ming.
Is there an age limit to be classified as hipster? Already for that reason I may be out.
But, I stil love restaurants!
A hipster and an intellect too.......!!!
This looks a cool place to eat.
Ming, I might have known it! I post an image with the word menu and you sniff it!!! What's more I find that about 5 of the last 6 or 7 NY snaps are of.....Restaurants or food stalls......
I'm going to ignore the "food" (hard to do) and praise ou for the rather nice red umbrella from Saturday.
BTW........all the very best restaurants have exceptionally surly waiters. Well, not quite all.
Greetings and tks for showing up....although I might have expected it!!!!
hm. I've never been their either and for no reason. How weird.
There are a bunch of French-ish restaurants about that vary in quality. French Roast isn't bad, and of course Pastis. I guess the Odeon closed down.
I'm the hippest intellectual hipster hippie ever to walk the earth!
Kidding.
When I was a teenager I was goth.
I don't think I can qualify as a hipster anymore...except in my own mind!
AMAZING color!
i don't categorize myself. i'm just me.
What an amazing photo Ming - it looks like a painting to me, thanks to the warmth of the outdoor lighting and your creative eye of course ;o)
Hipster? Hmm. Probably more a social butterfly, with a big dose of lefty intellectualism! :-)
A jack/jenny of all trades, master/mistress of none. Or urban refugee.
Definitely a hipster with a strong cerebral bent. :-)
I like the looks of this place--my kind of eatery.
Used to be a hippie, now I'm a FRUMP: Formerly Radical Underpaid Middle-aged Professional.
