Bicycle, Taxi & Bus
My original intent was to take a photo of this interesting "structure" that was being used as a bicycle stand, whether it was installed there for that express purpose or not. When I got home, I saw that the photo was even more interesting because of the taxi and bus lining up next to it -- all three mode of transportation in one photo. If only I could PhotoShop a subway train into the photo, it would be perfect. :-)So do you think the red iron structure here is meant as a bicycle stand?
Update: This "structure" is by David Byrne and yes, it is indeed meant to be a bike rack/stand.

Jackson Heights Subway Station
This is the main subway and bus station in Jackson Heights, otherwise known as Little India, on 75th Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Queens. Parts of Jackson Heights, especially the areas a few blocks north of the business district, have some of the most beautiful pre-war residential buildings in the city. They were built around the time when New York City was the epicenter of the movie industry. However, most of that business has moved to Hollywood. So what movies have you seen lately? Do you have any recommendations?

Rainy Day
This photo was taken from inside the bus when I was on my way home from work last Tuesday. I took out my camera and switched it onto macro mode to focus the raindrops on the window. A few passangers on the bus looked at me curiously while others were too busy talking on their cell phone to notice.
Where was the oddest place you had taken a photo?
