It's election day today so I'm posting a photo of one of the candidates, Barack Obama. To be fair, I wanted to post a photo of John McCain too but finding a favorable drawing/mural/image of John McCain (or Sarah Palin, for that matter) in NYC is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
That said, I did post a flattering photo of John McCain and Sarah Palin lookalikes three days ago on here. In fact, those two looked positively presidential in the photo.
Because of the election, I have the day off from work. I plan to sleep in till 9 AM and then go out for a nice brunch.

After brunch you march yourself over and vote young man! Nice photo. I can't figure out how it's done.

Can you take a picture of a voting machine?
How sad that his grandmother just died!
Hooray for having the day off!! So I assume you're voting, yes?
Thats a nice picture! Besides, I believe this election is going to be watched very closely by not just folks in the United States but also those across the globe!
superbe cette peinture murale d'Obama. Tu as une journée de congé pour cause d'élection ? c'est sympathique.
This beautiful mural of Obama. You have a day off because of election? it's nice.
The drawing is very good and your photo too .I think there is a special feeling in the air of NY city !
We'll all be following the election!
I am mostly curious about the "voting machine". Is it true that they are in public places? Are they like computers? It sounds quite strange to me, I have the impression that votes can be manipulated.
Could you tell us more about it?
Enjoy your brunch Abraham!
Happy Election Day. I know who I hope wins!
Ming
I know YOU are fair.
Sorry some people aren't fair.
Where is the tolerance?
WherE is the free will?
Where is the respect for another
thinking?
Nice image. I like it!
Very nice nice drawing of Obama. I like the tone richness of this black and white photo.
Do you vote, Ming?
I - and many others like me in other parts of the world - am anxious about the results of this election.
Lovely image, Ming. He sure looks Presidential to me! If you want to see who my dog voted for, please take a look at Menton DP.
Enjoy your lunch and I hope the queues aren't too bad for voting.
Love your photo. Did you superimpose the image/
I took a photo of myself in the voting booth and posted to blog....hehe
nice photo for today Ming!
I hope he wins.
Great piece of art work. I hope you got your lie in, got your brunch and voted. Or Virginia will be after you!
And she used to be a teacher, so I bet she can be stearn if needed!
great photo! powerful, love it!
Please explain to us how this photo of the VICTOR Obama was done. Its very cool!
ming -- I appreciate that you want to be bipartisan here, but . . . great shot. Personally, I fully intend to make no bones whatsoever about the candidate for whom I cast my vote. It's all pretty exciting, isn't it?
It's a graffiti in front of a store. I think it's stenciled paint.
I hope you voted. I can get a piccture anytime, just ask the cartoonist next to me to draw one, like my blog today. Palin pit bull in lipstick, she asked for it.
It looks like the image was made with tape to me. GREAT image - a real historic keeper. Did you see that a New York Times paper from election day went for $76 on ebay. Crazy!
I am so happy that I took my daughter with me into the voting/photo booth and recorded the whole affair. I think that's why voting lines were so long - everyone was photographing their choice!
Congratulations on the win! Will he visit Canada first or will he "break" the tradition?
I'm glad you didn't post a pic of Mccain... To hell with "fair"... You picked the right candidate! Woohoo!
That is one awesome image Ming...Obama is set to be one of (if not THE) most inspirational people of our time. Congratulations to all who voted for him.
