N.B.: I'm cheating this week. I signed up for the Theme Day photo but I totally forgot about it and couldn't find any good photos of books in my photo archives to post tonight. So I'm going to skip it this month.
Welcome to the city that never sleeps!

McCain/Palin, it's oh so scary now I can hardly get a cackle out.
Ming we will miss your take on books but believe me I know how it is to forget a "theme"! I do it almost every week!.d
Oh what fun these two are having. Love it, Ming.
I also forgot it was theme day so I just found some of the books I wrote and show a picture of them.
I will be totally glad when this election process is over. We voted a month ago and this drawn out process is like a dead carcass. It is beginning to stink.
Think they've read any good books lately????

I can just imagine election fever rising in the US! Nice photo.
Do visit Norwich Daily Photo and find out what I have in store for this month's theme. Happy theme day! Enjoy your weekend!

You're forgiven, esp since you found a humorous substitute. Look forward to your selection next month, and in the meantime, I'll visit your daily blog. Have a good week-end!
Mark and I saw the parade on TV. You were among the hoards of people?!
I've been on other years and this year's looked great because of the good weather.
You've got a great replacement Ming!
I have to wonder why these two weren't wearing costumes ... donkey ears would be an improvement ... or perhaps a horse's tail. Then again, I'm happy this couple only "looks" like and we don't actually have real twins to contend with. One pair is plenty!
Hope you had a good time in the Village last night :)
that's the scariest Halloween pic I've seen so far! Brrrr.

What beautiful teeth and smiling.
And shining eyes too.
Cool!
Missed this year's parade, but went to a fun party upstate.... though no sign of Barack there either.
Hi Ming! Back to the Blogosphere to visit this wonderful blog and look what I get: the Halloween ticket... ;))
Meanwhile Blogtrotter is now strolling somewhere around the Holy See of Echmiadzin. Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend!
AUGH!! What a Halloween TERROR!! (ROTFLMAO)
i think i'm the only grouch in this city who hates halloween and avoids it for all costs.
This is great. I miss watching the parade in the village, I didn't know it was ever on TV either-thanks Kitty!
I remember one time seeing a man go in drag as Barbara Bush. She/he was perfect, wearing a blue dress with big pearls & standing up waving out of the sun roof of a stretch limo!
Thanks Ming.
