Snow Day @ Central Park

This is the Literary Walk, one of the most photographed paths in Central Park because of the straight line and surrounding trees on both sides. At the north end of the path is the Bethesda Fountain, another popular site.

So what is the most popular or well known site in your town?

No Lines at TKTS

This is the line to the new TKTS booths that sell discounted Broadway tickets for same day shows only. The reason there was is no line here is because this photo was taken at about 10 AM in the morning and it was really, really cold.

So when was the last time you waited in a line to purchase something?

Benches at Madison Square Park

Here is another photo for my Park Bench series but unlike the other photos that were taken at Central Park, these were from Madison Square Park in midtown. I noticed the benches at both parks have the same design and most of them have metal plates on the back rests describing the financial contributions from and/or dedication to people who have passed on.

So do you have a favorite place or bench to sit on when you have some time to relax?

Theme Photo: Lines

Today is Oct 1st, which means it's theme photo day again. This month's theme is lines. So here is a line of shoes on the display window of Paragon Sports Store at Union Square. The weird discoloration on the top left corner is from the reflection on the glass.
