Magnetic Letters

These little hand made magnetic buttons were sold at a street fair in Queens a couple months ago. I thought they were colorful and quite fun, especially the ones with beautiful designs on them.

So do you like street fairs? What do you usually get at the fairs?

Oh I LOVE this photo, Ming, the color and designs on these magnets are awesome!
I love street fairs, but I'm often just happy to browse unless I find a kitchen gadget that I 've decided I can't live without HA!HA!

quand je me promène dans les braderies, je cherche surtout des vieilles cartes postales sur la ville d'Evry et des vieux livres

When I walk in street fairs, I seek mostly old postcards of the town of Evry and old books

At Street Fairs I usually get fatter; because I eat all the naughty things I shouldn't.

Love them. I have the same thing but dogs! Bought them at the Julie Taymor exhibition in Columbus, Ohio a few years ago. Why they were on sale I don't know - cos the exhibition related to her work, Lion King, etc etc.

To answer your question, I usualy look for old cooking books, lamps and home decoration. :)

I would look for something similar to replace the black and white letters on my keyboard! (Not yet invented?)

At first look I thought they were paperweights. Another great photo!

Yes, I do like street fairs, BUT they do cause a lot of traffic congestion....especially when the buses are rerouted.

I've bought orchids at the fairs, and if you go late in the day, you can get a great deal.

I always get socks, lemonade and bland Thai food made by Chinese people.

I do enjoy walking the street fairs if they are not too crowded. It's more of "window shopping" for me.
