This is one of four or five motorcyckes inside the Kiehl's store in the East Village. Kiehl's is a NYC company that sells really nice hair care and body products. So do you know how to ride a motorcycle? I don't but I hope to one day.
Welcome to the city that never sleeps!

I took this photo through the windows of a pizzeria in midtown Manhattan. The colors and variety look so intriguing but I don't know if it's really good or not. The dough/crust looks a little heavy to me. I prefer a thin crust pizza.
What kind of pizza do you like? What kind of toppings do you prefer?

These kids were peeking into the store window of the Virgin Megastore at Union Square yesterday. The video they are watching is a new comedy that has just been released on DVD. I think the advertising campaign for the DVD release is pretty brilliant.

This interesting store, Flight 001 in Greenwich Village, sells some of the most interesting travel items. On Sunday, I went there to buy an adapter plug for Italian wall sockets for my laptop. Yeap, I'm heading to Rome in January for a little vacation. I guess that wish I made when I threw the 100 Lira coin (US$0.07) into the Trevi Fountain in 1980 might come true after all.

This store window for Henri Bendel, a luxury departmental store on 5th Avenue and, has some of the best Christmas decorations. Instead of mannequins or Christmas trees on the windows, it has a row of jars filled with colorful candies.

Say HI to my new camera -- you can see it (in the reflection) in the middle of the photo above. It is a (used) Canon G9 with lots of supped up capabilities that I'm still trying to figure out how to use. Also, my old camera is going to a good home so don't worry about the little guy. First, my parents are taking it to Hawaii next week for a nice vacation and then my 10-year old niece in LA is going to adopt it as her own. She is a budding photographer so I am looking forward to seeing what she does with the camera.

The closest shop to my apartment is this fabulous Irish grocery store called, The Butcher Block that is about half a block from me. It carries all the regular items found in a grocery store plus a wonderful hot deli counter (daily menu listed on the middle window) and a selection of European imported food products.

I saw this clock with wings in a store window display of Anthropologie at Rockefeller Center recently and I loved it. Time really flies when you are having fun.
