New York City had its warmest winter in history last December followed by some of the coldest months in January and February. The two extremes in weather conditions should make us pause to think what is happening on Mother Earth.The cold temperature in the city has moved most social activities indoors and one of the most interesting places to enjoy a cup of coffee while catching some rays of sunshine is inside the Trump Tower atrium located on the corner of Madison Avenue and 56th Street. The glass and steel structure is temperature controlled and bathed in bright sun light from outside. Dozens of tables and chairs are arranged around art installations and 10-foot (3-meter) bamboo patches inside the atrium. Entrance is free but most importantly, there is a small coffee shop here where you can get your caffeine fix under the sun.
In the future, will we all live in an enclosed environment like this? Are you doing anything to reduce energy consumption or limit environmental pollution?

It's amazing and nice but no, I really hope to continue to live in oepen spaces and to reply to your question I'm afraid, in my little daily life, to do more against pollution than Bush Administration
I try to be aware of my impact on the earth via my consumption choices, but I don't do as well as I would like.

Hey Ming, I am looking for a new camera for food and travel photography...my Canon SD450 had proven itself to be useless during the past trip...without natural light, it's beyond help...any reco?
Trump does some things right I guess.
I do try to be careful with the energy I use but I know I use way more than I need to to live in a sustainable way.
Hi Ming, it's amazing. So many times I stopped at this atrium in front of the Sony Plaza on my way to the Drake (I don't know what happened to the Hotel), but never noticed it belonged to the Trump Tower...
Anyhow, it's a very nice place...
