Central Park encompasses over 843 acres (3.41 sq km) of public space and stretches over 2.5 miles (4 km) long and 0.5 miles (0.8 km) wide. The park was created in 1853 based on the same concept of public space as the Bois de Boulogne in Paris and the Hyde Park in London. Today is it one of the most beloved and expensive piece of land in New York City.
This photo was taken at the lower east sector of the Central Park. There are probably miles of benches scattered all over the park for visitors to sit and enjoy the outdoors.

Nicely lined up...those rings are just stacked in there!
I like the perspective!Way to go!It feels like going through a tunnel.
It does remind me of a tunnel. Nice job on the photo.

central park... it must be a beautiful place! And this perspective is great, I also think of a tunnel first!
Love this shot (love all your shots, actually!)! If only the benches could talk. I'm sure there have been lots of action around them. ;-))

I agree too about the lovely perspective. I shall look at a few of our benches that might be worth trying a similar treatment on.
Ahhhh...central park. Is there any better? The immensity of the park, attention to landscape design and architectural detail, and the diversity of people and cultures at almost any one time reminds me of the more beautiful possiblities of this country.
One must experience it to understand.
My personal fav. is the Bethesda Fountain and lake area.
With I were there.
Auf Wiedersehn!
