Spring, Where Have You Been?

After a weekend of soaking rain and heavy wind that cause severe flooding and numerous train interruptions, I am ready for spring weather to arrive. I want to see sun shine and clear blue skies. I want to see flowers and green leaves. I want to see people jogging in the park.

These photos were taken one afternoon three weekends ago at the Green Market in Union Square. Hopefully, they will appease the Gods who will then grace us with beautiful spring weather for the rest of the season.

Which is flower or greenery is favorite?

Your collage is a breath of spring! I can't choose a favorite because they're all unique to themselves and collectively quite lovely.

What a gorgeous montage you have created! I'm still debating within about your kind offer...btw, I showed my Indian friend your photo, and he didn't know what it was either. Did you ever reveal what it was?

kate - Thank you for visiting. Since you like them all, I will have to give you all the flowers.

kuanyin - The green veggie was fresh chick peas or gabanzo beans. Usually, they come dried or canned.

olivier - J'adore la lavande aussi. J'utilise les bougies de lavande et les savons de lavande.

fabrizio - No, I did not receive the e-mail.

pom d'api - Yes, it will be beautiful when summer comes.

keropok - I think you're referring to fiddle ferns. I have not had them in many years but they are delicious.

stilletoheights - I look forward to the Columbus weather to arrive. *fingers crossed*

edwin - Thanks for the comment.

Beautiful! How can one chose only one as a favorite? Spring is meant to be a chaotic jumble of color to awaken the soul!

Are you in the florists' business too? :)
Great composition. I prefer the orange ones lower left corner.

Carlos - No, I'm not! In fact, I have "black thumb" because every plant I touch dies a horrible death. :-) I even managed to drown a cactus once.

I'm not allow within a mile radius of any vegetable or fruit farms. LOL!

I love all of them! Without flowers, the greenery will be dull and with greenery, it makes the flowers stand out. I'm hoping for clear blue skies too!

Wonderful collage, we posted one almost simultaneously, except mine was about fish!!!

I'll choose the basil, because not only are its leaves beautiful, they are also wonderful to eat, and their scent is a promise of good food!
