I took this photo a couple months ago at the Patel Brothers, an Indian supermarket in Jackson Heights, Queens. It is a tropical fruit that is quite delicious. Can you guess what it is?

jackfruit! i saw them hanging on trees in india a couple of months ago! i was so shocked that something so HUGE could hang off a tree! never did get to eat one tho :(

Whatever it is, you wouldn't want to be sitting in the shade under the tree and have one fall on your head.... could be fatal I think!
