Wow just amazing,you never realise how steep it is do you. When we were on the plane to Oz many years ago we could see it out the window! just amazing! Hope you are having a brilliant time
You're in right about pollution (especially in Xi'Ang) but it seem you were unlucky because Great Wall is anyway far over 100 Km from Beijin...

Great to see you back posting. The Wall (a New 7 Wonder) is Great... Not so sure the pollution causes the haze there... I was a bit luckier, and managed to see it with a blue sky
