This is an adorable puppy.
But ah, how do you let someone know you like them? If you mean on a first meeting, you ask them questions about themself - or if you don't get that far, you somehow show that you are available to an approach, as opposed to having a wall up.
If you know them, yes, like Fenix you say 'I like you Ming!'

For dogs a pat on the head (with owner permission) works. I used to carry a small dog biscuit with me and when me and my dog were walking and came across another dog, I tried to give it the dog bigcuit.

I'm a sucker for the doggies! This guy is sooo cute.
When I like (assume you mean attracted) to someone...I always think "How short is life and I get one chance at this."...but it's usually in the eye-lingo...a little extra time during the 'casual glance' if you will. But, if it's someone I'm over-the- top interested in...time's a wastin!..I usually just walk up and introduce myself and say something nice...see where it goes.
