Here is another fire escape photo from the Village. I like this one a lot because it is very differnt from the ones we have seen before. This fire escape is really small and tall and it does not look like too many people can evacuate from the building quickly. However, the choice of color is definitely interesting.I hope everyone has a good relaxing weekend.

I agree with you.I love the lime colour.It somehow goes well with the red coloured building.New York is always so interesting!

Indeed, interesting color. Makes it stand out for sure. It seem to echo the window frames too.
I'm sure that if there's actually a fire I'd be most grateful that the escape is there. I wouldn't dream of walking up or down that route without a good reason!
It is attractive, for a fire escape.
I wouldn't want to have to walk down it - or up it either, for that matter.
