Rainy Day

It was hot and humid last Monday. Then it rained on Tuesday afternoon and the weather suddenly turned dry and cool the next day. This morning, it was a little chilly and windy. I guess the Fall/Autumn weather has arrived.

This photo was taken from inside the bus when I was on my way home from work last Tuesday. I took out my camera and switched it onto macro mode to focus the raindrops on the window. A few passangers on the bus looked at me curiously while others were too busy talking on their cell phone to notice.

Where was the oddest place you had taken a photo?

Really clear raindrops and an apparently very clean window!

Oh, I wish I could do that with my little camera. Weirdest place? Hmm, the subway? The most uncomfortable, definitely while holding an umbrella!

Like the pattern of raindrops.

Oddest place? Probably inside a public restroom. I can't think of anything stranger offhand.

Oh Ming, I missed so many wonderful posts whilst I was away. Loved your series on fashion people - beautiful people. Wonderful!

My oddest place to take a photo? Well it was in Castellar - a village above Menton. I took a photo of the hole in the ground type toilet which I intended to put on Menton DP but have, so far, desisted!

Nice photo of the raindrops. It's getting chillier in the evenings now here and we will be wearing a jacket soon. Hate to think of winter. Anyway, I think the oddest place for me to take a photo was, when I layed down on the ground to take a photo of a drinking fountain. It was for a class I took years ago. I wanted to make it look huge and it did.

A very pretty rain-photo. Here the sun is shining after all those rainy summer days. I think I'll go outside soon.

I like this shot. It captures the feeling of the cold raw dampness that gets in your bones on a rainy autumn day in the Northeast.

Could be Stockholm tonight as well. I've snapped photos in all kinds of places by now. I once tried to examine the inside of a pipe using my camera.

I adore the photograph of drop of rain; each one can see there what it decides

Like annulla, I also took photos in a restroom, but the fanciest one in Paris; worth some photos!

I have a feeling that bloggers often take photos of things most "normal people" would not think about picturing!

Usually get stares when macro mode is used.
The raindrops look clean.

The oddest place I've taken a photo was in a bathroom stall. I was wanting a plain colored wallpaper to use as a background on my cell phone's display. So, I took a picture of the back of the door. There wasn't any bathroom graffitti scribbled on it. It made for a nice clean "teal green" wallpaper background. I like it!

weirdest?

In the train that zooms from UK to France under the Chunnel. I wanted to take a picture of the toilet! haha..

(with the tap, etc that is activated by stepping on the button on the floor).

Luckily no one saw it!
