Here is a modern interpretation of the classic apartment stoops. This townhouse on 13th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue was probably renovated recently to give it a different look from the rest of the townhouses in the area. This area is considered the gold coast of the Village because of its highly desireable properties and tree lined street.So how is your weekend so far?

The curved staircase caught my eye, and the backdrop of the colourful bricks gives it an artistic flair. Nice shot! Week-ends are always busy and fun, especially when the grandkids stay over--both sleeping now. Have a good Sunday everyone!

Pub scene.........well, look for yourself. The "Bar Fly" series says it all.
It's a graceful curve and invites one to walk up or down, to stop and sit and talk to passers-by. And the pink color on the walls makes me feel quite happy.
I think I shall sweep my front porch and sit on it, watch the world for while today.

I must say I do prefer those modern version to imitation of the old themes.
And to answer your question: my w.e. is gone, gone gone... It was very busy and I just finished catching up. I should nearly take a day off to recuperate from the w.e. ... Probably not a good idea, eh?
I know that block well.....sometimes walk home that way after getting off the 2 train at 14th Street.
