Halloween Party in the Village II

Here is the second installation of photos from the Halloween street party yesterday. These people were NOT part of the Halloween parade that marched up 6th Avenue from Spring to 23rd Street. They were actually revelers dressed up in costumes and hanging out in the Village or heading to a party somewhere.

There was a huge stadium size spot light at Sheriden Square so I stood there for three hours watching people walk by. As soon as I saw someone interesting, I went up and asked if he or she could step in front of the light so I could take a photo. Most of them gave me three to four poses to photograph.

So would you stop and pose for a stranger?

j'aime beaucoup la première en haut à gauche (cela vient d'un film de tim burton non ?). Encore une belle série de portrait. Non je me laisse rarement photographier, je laisse la place à Amedée.
Je te souhaite un bon week-end

I love the first in the upper left corner (this is a film of tim burton not?) . Another beautiful series of portrait. No I am rarely photographed, I leave Amedée be photographed in my place.
I wish you a good weekend

I guess I would accept, especially if I was dressed up like this... which however is not very likely to happen.

I love these posts, Ming. I find it quite hard to ask people to pose but sometimes I do.

To answer your question, I think, all dressed up like this, ie to a degree behind a mask, I'd agree - otherwise I'd want my makeup on first! Ah the vanity of women - or the insecurity...

Ming, who are the young woman in the shiny black jacket, the one in the white whatever it is she's wearing and the woman in black in the last picture, supposed to look like?

The girl in leather is supposed to be Trinity from the movie, The Matrix.

The girl in white is just dressing up as a Grecian woman.

The girl in black at the bottom looks like Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Would I stop and pose for a stranger? No, I would run as fast as I could in the opposite direction!
Would you?

Gee, I don't know. Probably I would on Halloween if I were in costume--it's the spirit of the thing.

Your ice cubes have peaks sometimes? Well, I never!

I would probably not. But disguised for Halloween, I might. I think my favorite is the guy wearing his grandma's pink sweater. He also stole her purse. Cute.

Great photos, Ming! I like the girl with the blue hair!

For sure I would not accept! I am very concerned about pose to photos for a stranger. By the way, I don't like to pose for nobody! Lol!
