Rockefeller Center

I wasn't the only one there to see the Christmas tree at the Rockefeller Center. I went, I saw and I left. I am not a fan of crowded places.

When or where are you most uncomfortable?

When I'm too hot/cold and/or surrounded by noisy people.

I like the crowd when I am wandering alone, feeling lonely..

Interesting pic - with the skycrapper as background, the giant christmas tree seemed to be dwarfed.

This pic is beautiful, and I'm with you - I don't like crowds, it gives me a headache!

Like Fénix and in crowded places when I cannot see a way to run away.

BTW the photo is nice :-)

Is that an oxymoron? "I am not a fan of crowded places" and you live in New York City?

I invite you to a non-crowed place. Here in Brookville, Ohio you can actually walk from anywhere in the city to the center of downtown and never see another living soul. That sounds like a perfect place for you, ming.

I do like your photograph in spite of the fact that it reinforces your dislike for crowded places.

I'm not much a fan of crowds either, especially when I feel out of place...for example last year on a lark my bubs and I went to a bullriding competition, it was held in the city, so all these crazy country folk who have no business being downtown were all there, with their American Flag Denim Shirts...

I felt like they were going to chase me out with sticks.

I like being in a crowd, e.g. a sports crowd, or at a concert.... as long as I don't have to talk to them!

I commend you for going down there and braving the crowds. Photo is worth it. I remember when the place wasn't so crowded. Not anymore. one of the most popular places, especially when it's time to light the tree.

Love the photo. And for Christmas in New York, I'd cope with the crowds - in fact I love the buzz of New York. But yes, I need quiet and couldn't live without it. But that's great isn't it? we can be still when we want and then venture out and be amongst people when we want.

What a super shot!

Believe me, the tree looks better from a distance anyway...

The Bryant Park tree is much better, actually....

First, good shot, Ming! I like the first one you posted, too.

Hmmm. . . I hate crowded places. That being said, some of my favorite places are always crowded: Las Vegas, NYC, Barcelona, Mexico City, San Francisco. . . .I guess what I don't like is people pushing and shoving and being rude.

Brilliant shot Ming. I too love the way this huge tree is dwarfed by the skyscraper. My large tree today pales into insignificance! :)

I'm officially naming you the Roving Photographer. Great picture.

I still haven't gotten to the Rock. Maybe this weekend....but I also hate the crowds, especially on weekends.

I am glad you stayed long enought to get the picture. I am most uncomfortable when someone else is driving.

The tree is dwarfed by the skyscraper, isn't it?

In the elevator - I'm claustrophobic!

Hmm, don't like crowds too much either. That's why I leave it to you and Lori to post the tree. ;)

It depends on the crowd as to whether or not I am uncomfortable...at a Counting Crows concert not uncomfortable...at a Republican rally very uncomfortable!

I don't like crowed places, too!
