Here is another photo from the Union Square Holiday Market on 14th Street and Broadway. It is less than a week before Christmas so everyone is doing their last minute shopping.
So what do you plan on doing on Christmas day?
Welcome to the city that never sleeps!

I'm having a family Christmas dinner tomorrow (Friday 21st) as my sons are having the 25th with their in-laws this year. So on Christmas, I shall relax, watch a movie, go for a walk with The Space Cadet, have a drink with the neighbours, and NOT cook a huge turkey dinner!
Sorry, I deleted the first post.... silly typing mistakes.
Sleeping, exchanging gifts with my family, playing with my nephew, hanging with my family, eating great food prepared by the world's best mom (i.e. mine) and hopefully seeing friends I haven't seen in way too long a time!
j'aime bien les marchés de noël le soir, cela permet de faire de belles photos.
I like the Christmas market in the evening, it helps you make great pictures.
I like Christmas markets (Holiday Markets).

4- Watch Little Women
5- have awkward phone conversation with my mom
6- nap

Christmas Day is gonna be my mum, dad and I for most of the day then the 'fella' is coming over about 5pm to watch Doctor Who (a very popular tv show here) with Kylie Minogue in it. He is then spending the night so we can exchange presents.
Then before you know it, its all over and 2008 and will be here!
Life in New York is so different, would love to visit this open holiday marketplace.
Christmas day finds my hubby and I alone with nothing to do since the kids go to the other family's that day sooooooo our tradition has become going out in the woods for a nice long drive/exploration. This year will be especially fun because we have four wheel drive. Sometimes we take a few snacks and coffee and sometimes we end up at one of the Indian casino's for lunch:) Only in Arizona.......
ripping open the presents! haha...
Each year I (and I'm not alone I guess) decide to have the Christmas shopping made early, but then...! I believe I finished today, but I may have forgotten something.
Christmas Eve, family at my place; Christmas Eve, big (French) meal at my son's place!
Merry Christmas to you!
I would enjoy just browsing and watching people panic :D
I do my Christmas shopping in increments throughout the year :D
Please forgive me if my visit to you blog in the next couple of weeks will be slightly intermittent, as I am home in Manila spending some lovely time with my closest and dearest, while basking in the sun. Your visits to my blog/s, however, are much appreciated!

Hey Bud! I just love browsing in nightmarkets like these - there are NONE in Perth!:o( -Just day-time markets on weekends. So, got all your pressie shopping done?
December 25th I'm going to make a break, as parents and relatives are coming here for a long, long lunch...
Sorry for having taken so much time to come back here, but I will not tell you about my last weeks… But let’s forget all that; I wish you a nice holiday season and I’ll try to come back here to see some more wonderful pictures and to divert from less interesting tasks!

Love the Christmas markets with last minute shoppers, I'm feeling smug this year as I've done all my shopping. Spending Christmas with family and supporting my mum through her first Christmas without her husband, who died just six weeks ago.
Opening presents and figuring out which ones I need to return.
