Chelsea Townhouse

These townhouses on 22nd Street, near 9th Avenue, are some of the more attractive homes in Chelsea. The area is not known for its beauty because it was an industrial/manufacturing district in the early 1900s. Now, it is populated mostly by warehouse size clubs, bars and galleries.

I had problems with blogger last night because it won't load the photos. Does anyone else ever have the same problem?

Looks like a yummy day in the Big Apple ;-)

Blogger had an outage around 7pm, but then it worked fine for me.

Ming I've had problems all afternoon with Blogger but finally got all three photography blogs up.

What a pretty row of lovely houses - love the colours. Nice shot.

This is such a beautiful shot. It looks like the street goes on forever! That's so cool! (Yes, blogger often does strange things for me too. Usually when I can't post I just wait and try again later.)

Pretty pastels. Love the simple lines of the façades.

No problems with Blogger up here.

(Are you going to leave this word authentication torture for evah? - Third time today trying to post this comment... Sigh.)

Nice looking houses, I like the colours.

I had problems last night mid posting. I think they were doing maintenance. I often find it slow though.

I have no problem with blogger but then, I don't post every day...

These townhouse look like a typical "bobo" area - in French, bobo stands for Bourgeois Bohême (well off people who indulge in mock-alternative lifestyles)

That is a beautiful block....I think I looked at an apartment there when I relocated to Manhattan from Queens.

There are also many wonderful galleries nearby.

Wonderful!

I have problems with blogger every now and then. I just do other things and come back later to try again. ;-)
