Here is an exterior shot of the La Colombe Cafe from yesterday. Right across the street is the Chinatown Post Office and a few blocks south is the Tribeca Grand Hotel.
So how do you take your coffee? Milk and sugar?
Welcome to the city that never sleeps!

I take my coffee at 6am and 3-4pm most days...varies slightly with my work schedule.
w/milk and (2) sugars pleaze!
In my small southern town, we have a wonderful coffee shop called MYLOS. Within the last few months, (4) different Starbucks have opened. Seems a bit much for this little town, but, they all seem busy.
Laterz,
Bri
I like the various colors on the building. I take my coffee black.
It looks like a fine place for cafe of any kind. Black please!
Lovely corner place.
A nice place for a cafe to be situated.

I take mine with skim milk, no sweetner. It took a while to wean myself off the sugar, but I finally acquired a taste for it. Had my first two cups already this morning.
er... as long as it's anything but conventional (ie not the usual latte or cappuccino). i tend to go for the flavoured ones, and if they dun have these on the menu, the most "conventional" one i'll order is a mocha ;p
how do u like urs btw? :)
I like my coffee the same way citygirl15 takes hers -- skimmed milk, no sugar. I weaned myself off sugar about 8 years ago.
MIng, there is no salvation for you. You crept back almost before you had left the place!
I am truly glad to learn that sugar no longer figures. You have to taste the flavour as nature made it. If it's not sweet, don't sweeten it....that's my motto.
Love this building, but never drink coffe! :))
Have a great weekend!

I like these older buildings. They have character. ;-)
I'm not a coffee drinker, although I like the coffee I get from the Dominican restaurants. That's good!

Well i would say that my favorite coffee is a Caramel Macchiatto from Starbucks...When I come to the US one of the first thing I do is run into a Starbucks and drink a Caramel macchiatto !!! (by the way we don't have any Starbucks in Belgium)...
By the way Ming, I think La Colombe Cafe is at the corner of Church and Lispenard Street, not Walker...
See you...
hello ming!
'Ow 'ave you been? I was recently tagged by Thiên and felt compelled to do it. I usually pay no attention to these things but she's nice and all that...
What did I do? I tagged you!
Please pop into KLDP and have a look at what you have to do if you decide to do it.
Hope you're enjoying a lovely Sunday.
love always.
I like my coffee, short and VERY strong with a touch of milk - a noisette, we call it here and in Italian, a machiata - I believe it's called.
i stayed in the Tribeca hotel for four nights a couple of years ago. Very trendy and VERY dark inside! We got a good price...I might add.
Black... like my men. :) Airplane anyone?
Don't drink the stuff - hate the taste.
Milk 2 sugars with coffee, just milk with tea! Oh I want to be in New York.
The 'fella' is up to season 2 on SATC. We are going through all of them before the movie and he seems to like it.
Points so far!:-
He doesn't like Carrie smoking (well he doesn't like anyone smoking!)
He thinks big is sleazy, I haven't told him that they end up together!
He mostly always agree with what Sam and Charlotte do (amazing considering they are so different)
And we have both agreed that one of my friends is a Miranda! She knows it as well!
Tell me have to done the SATC tour? Or is that a tourist thing?
i only drink my coffee BLACK, i hate sugar or milk in it- i think it tastes like candy.
Love this picture and how it portrays NYC architecture so well. It's those stairs! And that red!
Let's see. If I have to have coffee, that would be with tons of milk (which is why I like latte, the coffee for people who don't like coffee). Once in a bluemoon, I'll have a cappuccino after lunch. Otherwise, I am Madame Thé. I love them all, except that Chai thing which actually makes me sick. And sugar in tea is a crime. Especially in tisanes.
a tiny bit of milk and 1 sugar. i don't like it with cream. it has to be milk
