Godivas & Lindts

Look what I've got on my kitchen table? Two big boxes of Godiva's chocolates, two boxes of Lindt's chocolate truffles and a can of Godiva's hot chocolate. They are gifts from my friends for the Lunar New Year and my birthday, which was a couple weeks ago. I also received a few magazine subscriptions from my brother.

So who wants to come over and help me eat the chocolates? What kind of gifts did you receive at your last birthday?

This is a great display of pretty tempting goodies. I hate to rain on your parade, tho, because you may not be too eager to indulge after reading this article: http://snipurl.com/1z8bx

Ah, just ignore it!!

Ohhh, I'll be right over! I love these chocolates! They sell them in our Chapters Book Store and they are all along where you line up waiting for a cashier--oh, so tempting!

I'd come to Sunnyside even if you didn't have chocolates. We could go to one of those good Turkish restaurants on Queens Boulevard, drink thick coffee and talk photography.

My birthday is in a week and a half. I just want peace and quiet.

I have mixed feelings about the new portal (the graphics are pretty dull) but there are some features I really like, particularly the ability to mark favorite blogs. This helps a lot for people who don't happen to post when I'm looking around. You're on my list now.

I guess you can expect roses for Valentine's Day after receiving all this chocolate now.

Well, I'm not a big chocoholic, but I do love Godiva chocolate, but I only eat sugar-free (which, in chocolate, can be an abomination).

I don't remember what I got for my birthday. . .Flowers from my son, I think.

How lucky can you get :) You have classy friends - wishing you a late but happy birthday. Mine is around the corner but I doubt anyone will remember - soon even I'll believe I must have been hatched. :)
