The Atrium at the MET 2

Here is another photo of the atrium at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Notice the terrance on the second floor on the upper left corner? That was where I was when I took a lot of photos posted here.

No question today. I hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Architectural structures always fascinate me. The curves of these arches are flawless.

It's not fair; three on a row makes me miss the Met even more... ;)
Anyhow, it seems as busy as ever!

You had no query today, but I forgot to ask: how much is the contribution now?

Your museum pictures inspired me to visit a museum today.

Elliot just suggested the New Museum on the Bowery. Have you been there?

You have a good Sunday too!

Very nice. I was up there a few months ago to hear some chamber music and drink some champagne.

Even though I hate crowds when I am visiting a museum (admittedly for selfish reasons) I'm glad to see so many people patronizing the Met. Good Sunday to you, too. ~Chuck

Always a great place to visit on a cold (judging by everyone's attire) Sunday...
The last museum I visited was the Holocaust Museum of South Florida in Naples. On a smaller scale than the MET, that's for sure, but what an impact...

It looks so nice there. I'm going to visit when I come to New York in the Autumn!

It is crowded. Was it weekday or weekend for this shot?

This photo was taken around 4 PM on a Thursday afternoon before Good Friday (holiday weekend).

I assume that explains the large tourist crowd.
