New Lawn at Bryant Park

This photo was taken a couple weeks ago after Bryant Park had laid down new sods on the ground. There were signs everywhere requesting the public to stay off the lawn. Everyone appeared to respect the signs because nobody was on the lawn.

So do you always obey the law? What kind of offenders annoy you most? I really despise litterbugs and people who deface public properties.

Well of course I do! And I get upset with anyone who doesn't mind their manners and the rules.

Perhaps that stretches the truth just a wee bit -:)

Dear Ming
What are you doing up at three in the morning?
The reason I didn't post food pictures at Dar Mimoun is that it is fine - but not thrilling.
As regards rules - must be my German/English heritage.
I hate people who won't wait in line.
Why do they think they are more important than anyone else?!

don't you know the consequences of not obeying laws in Singapore? LOL..

I was and our generation was brought up to respect law and order and if we didn't obey our parents we were whipped with belts, brooms sticks, canes, switches off trees, shovels and dish rags to name a few things I can remember.

Kids listened to their parents and anyone in authority in those days.

cela va lui faire du bien au Bryant-Park, un petit nettoyage de printemps. Il reste mon parc préférè.
it will make him well-Bryant Park, a little spring cleaning. It remains my loved park

I usually obey the law, even when it comes to taxes. However, I often treat street signs as suggestions rather than commands.

Nice Photo Ming...I do obey the laws....What I dislike is someone perfectly healthy parking in a handicap space...shame shame...

I agree with Abraham...my generation was taught to respect the law..it began in our home..we had rules to obey...

Hmmm,I do obey the law. This is neat! I got a photo of a person standing on the grass with a sign of 'don't step on the grass' in front of her, I'm gonna post that soon!

Wow, that is some seriously green grass. I bet its torturing the dogs who walk by and wonder who gets to mark the territory first!

I always obey the rules! In Cheltenham in the summer we get yobs who pull up the plants in the flower beds of the parks. God knows what they'd do to new lawns! Its a sad state of affairs :(

I'm glad they stayed off the grass.

For the most part. But, definitely not on the grass. My son is a turf agronomist, so we get fussed at about grass. :)

That new grass is very pretty.

Well, I've been known to cross the street where I shouldn't (now that the kids are all big and mom doesn't have to be a role model all the time). Otherwise, I'm usually quite the good citizen.

I, too, despise the litterbugs and vandalism. I do love artful graffiti where it is allowed/OK to be.

Love this photo! Beaufiful green lawn and those bare trees with buildings on background.

Sure, I obey the law.

I totally agree with you Ming.

Littering and defacing property is a crime, and should be punishable as such.
