5 Ninth Restaurant

I was on my way to meet a friend for brunch at the Meatpacking District (ie. Ninth Avenue below 14th Street) in Lower Manhattan on Monday afternoon when I walked passed this beautiful looking restaurant called, 5 Ninth. We didn't eat here because we were meeting up at a restaurant a block away. But you can check out the menu by clicking on the link above.

So what is the name of your favorite restaurant?

“易提客”, lazy girl, so when I doesn't want to cook, I go there.

My goodness! You've busted these women violating the posted order to do no standing there! Tsk-tsk!

Gosh, favoriting a restaurant is too hard. The one I enjoy most often here in little Willits is called Ardella's. But Mendocino county has oodles of good ones, especially over on the tourist-rich coast.

That looks very cute. And very non-urban for New York City.

I have too many favorite restaurants, living where I do!

Nice restaurant if you can find it. I mean to say there are so many places to eat where you live and they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and a lot of them do not look like a typical restaurant so I would be really dumbfounded to try and find one and would never have guessed that this was one.

I guess that is what makes it a neat place to eat. The link provided a clue when somebody said it was a neat place to watch people.

What a beautiful setting - I wonder if there's an outdoor seating area at the back. That would be nice !

I'm amazed at the summery feel of this shot.

We'v had nothing but rain in the past few days in Avignon, but my photo today has to do with breakfast. We're both into food today, it seems!

The restaurant looks nice. My favorite? I have on only been once, but I would have to say Smith & Wollensky in Vegas. I usually eat at places that start in fast and end in food.

Well, I think I am the only one that has clicked on the link to look at the menu and it is a user rating and review site that after reading it you probably ought to take this one off your to go to list:)

Looks nice...but, the reviews were pretty bad...hmmm...

I guess my favorite in town restaurant would have to be Ramuntos...and in Lebanon - 10 miles away - Lui Lui

My real favorite is Trattoria de Benci, but it's in Florence, Italy -- where I am definitely not at the moment. Where I am is Brooklyn, so I'll say Bar Tabac, for one of their fabulous, so-worth-the-calories burgers (and don't hold the fries).

We ate there last year...in their outdoor garden. Food was ok but not memorable.

Now the first thing I thought of when I saw the post was that they were breaking the rules by standing there :)
