Nutella Sandwich

If you are a regular reader of this blog, you would have figured out that I rarely eat/cook at home. But I do . . . sometimes. This photo above is an example of my cooking reportoire: nutella (hazelnut chocolate spread) sandwich. My other specialty is a scrambled eggs over peanut butter and toasts. When I tell my friends that, they all said, "EWWWWWWWWW!"

So have you ever had scrambled/fried eggs on top of peanut butter and toast? If not, what weird food do you like to make at home?

I love scrambled eggs/potatoes with toast covered in peanut butter and jelly....but separated on the plate. I don't like them mixed together.

I don't really cook at home. Usually I microwave stuff or order take out.

Have you tried an Elvis sandwich? It's banana, bacon, honey and peanut butter.

I recommend taking a picture of the Belvedere Castle for your next post.

When younger, it happened that I make dark rye toast toppled with strawberry jam and thin slices of cucumber. Hey, that vegetable is almost pure water anyway! Today the idea seems a lot more mediocre.

MMM...interesting!

I don't cook anything very weird, but I do dip my fries into my chocolate thickshake or chocolate sunday at Maccas...I haven't done that in years though!

I had a fried mars bar in Scotland which was surprisingly pretty good.

Peanut butter, honey, bannana and blueberries on a wholemeal tosatie, with a dollop of whipped cream on the side. Yummy, but sickly.

No scrambled eggs and peanut butter, but I do enjoy tomatoe sandwiches. Just bread, butter and sliced tomatoes with salt and pepper. They have to be really good flavorful tomatoes. Those hot house tomatoes won't do. I love, love, love Nutella!

I love scrambled eggs, Ming, but you leave me behind with Nutella and peanut butter. I don't like either of them!

Eggs and Peanut Butter - sounds like an allergy sandwich. I put a few teaspoons of peanut butter in my ice cream and that tends to get a big "Eeewww!" but I don't care. It tastes good and I can use the calories.

Love peanuts and peanut butter but not with anything sweet thank you. Weird, well most of you will think this has a big EEWWWWW factor - boiled okra on top of my black eyed peas. It's a southern thing, you wouldn't understand.

I live in Japan. There are things we eat here that would make a billy goat puke. I used to eat pistacio ice cream with hollandaise sauce. I take better care of myself these days.

As a kid, a friend's mom served us potato chip sandwiches! (UK people call our chips "crisps"). It was in the 1960s, so it was two slices of white sandwich bread spread with either mayonnaise or butter, then a layer of potato chips in between. My mom would never have served something so lacking in nutrition as the featured dish for lunch, and I was a little scandalized, but the texture combination of soft-to-crisp was sublime.

My mom always used to make us creamed eggs on toast. Its boiled eggs in a white sauce. SO good! I never really thought about how weird it was until I told my husband about it. Although he hates eggs....

i love korean ramen with a bit of vinegar in it. my mom always made it for me that way, so if i have ramen without vinegar now, it just seems bland.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE nutella, but HATE HATE HATE peanut butter, so my reaction is EWWWWWWWWWW too I'm afraid ;o)

I love (well used to love before I stopped eating meat) pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup - that savoury/sweet combination is just the best! Nathan thinks I'm a weirdo!
