The British Are Coming

I saw this mural being installed on Spring Street between Prince and Crosby in SoHo last weekend. But it looked more like a painting than a poster so I was totally in awe at the qualtiy of work done here.

So what did you do this weekend?

awesome photo Ming, love it.
I saw a sign being painted in Soho a few weeks ago, too. It's incredible how they do it so quickly.

Great installation!

I went to an agility show where my wiggitty-wag got his AXJ title. I then helped a woman get her car out of the mud. And finally went to a show at the Islip Art Museum.

Is it Friday yet?

this is such a great capture!
hmmm...I can't remember! Why does last weekend already feel like a week ago?

Nice catch, Ming. Do you know what the installation is for? Some big opening?

This last week-end we saw a musical at the Ahmanson Theater. Fun ~ 9-5.

I slept in late both days, and wished my bicycle was here and ready. So, I ate too much instead. 6^(

I spent part of the weekend with a bunch of crazy scooterists touring breweries ... and of course one can't tour a brewery properly without sampling their brew. Right?

Is it an advertisement for something? Or just art for art's sake?

Where is it? Prince and Spring are parallel to Crosby so maybe it is on Spring between Crosby and Lafayette? I want to go check it out!

It's a great shot - particularly considering we had such weird changes in light over the weekend. Nice one.

Sarita & Hilda - I don't know what it was for. I will have to go back and check it out later this week.

Mame - You are right! It's on Spring between Crosby & Lafayette, right outside of the 4/5 downtown train subway station, south side of the street.

Glad to see our influence! This is a really cool bit of art.

That is really cool. We don't have murals like that in our town, lol. Ours feature cattle drives, cowboys, the the town founders.
