Chanel Mobile Art in Central Park

I visited the Chanel Mobile Art: Contemporary Art Container by Zaha Hadid in Central Park yesterday morning. I have to admit, it was one of the best planned art exhibitions I've ever attended in my life. Upon entering the temporary spaceship like pod/exhibition tent, each person was provided with an MP3 player that played a guided tour narrated by French actress, Jeanne Moreau from start to finish. The exhibition is free of charge for everyone but there are limited tickets given out each day until November 2.

Now, on to some great news. I was bestowed two fabulous awards yesterday: the Blogging Friends Forever Award from Valeria from Verona Daily Photo and the Kreativ Blogger Award by Niamh of Barcelona Daily Photo. I appreciated the awards greatly so I would like to thank both Valeria and Niamh.

I know I am supposed to give these awards to other bloggers but there are too many to mention. So I think everyone should get them.

Yeah, you've seen it!! :) Ah, Jeanne Moreau - that's funny to see who they pick as the "voice of France". Good to hear it's worth it. I guess I should get my tickets.

I am a bit envious (!!!)of that whole world of events of culture and art that "lives" among the big capitals...

You are so lucky to be able to visit such an extraordinary exhibition!
Have a good week.

Honestly it looks like something Steve Jobs would do for his beloved Macs.

Jeanne Moreau, despite her 80 years, is still very active! Obviously a nice exhibition!

Yes, of course, congratulations to the awards! I have the same problem when I recieve one - too difficult to choose five ore whatever others to give it to. I do as you - I give it to all blogging friends!

Oh Ming, I would LOVE to see this exhibit. I can't believe it's free. Over Nov. 2, guess I won't make it, but glad you shared this cool Spaceship Enterprise photo with us/ Only the French.......!

You deserve many nice awards. You do a terrific job. I wouldn't miss your blog even for a day.

Ming, is the guy in black a security type? I like the lines of this structure and you've composed this very well. Congratulations on your awards, too :)

Chuck - Yes, the guy is a Chanel clad security personnel. He is American but the Chanel jacket, as are all the attendants' Chanel uniforms, travel with the exhibition.

I am here by default of your award (ie, from Valeria's blog). Congratulations! I will have to visit your blog whenever I am feeling homesick (a lot). I have been in Italy for 6 months now and am missing Manhattan like crazy! Your photos are great and the exhibit looks very cool.

Well, Ming, you certainly do get to visit lots of extraordinary exhibits, photo spots, and the lively places of NYC.

Congratulations on the well-deserved awards. I really enjoy reading your daily posts and can't wait to catch up if we're gone for a few days.
