Christmas Wish List I

I was at the local grocery store this weekend when I heard a Christmas song playing on the speakers. Even though it is still too early to be planning for Christmas, I think I may have found an item for Santa Claus to bring me; I have been a very good boy afterall.

I saw this beautiful red Francis x7 espresso machine at the Conran Store in midtown last Sunday. According to the sales lady demonstrating and handing out free espresso, the machine currently retails for $395 (that is a $200 off the actual price). The lady also said that it was designed by Italian architect, Luca Trazzi.

So do you have a Christmas wish list yet? If so, what would you like Santa to bring you?

I thought you wanted a new camera?

The Italians do have a flair for design. I've hummed and hawed over a countertop espresso machine but I always talk myself out of it.

That is half the price of a REALLY good camera..so no...not interested in this as a gift for me....but it sure does make for a pretty picture with all the red doesn't it?

I love this display & the way they make everything look so enticing. I'd like to buy this & I can't even drink espresso!
hmmm...the things I want for Christmas? I can't decide. I'm too excited about Halloween.

Well it's not a $400 fancy pants expresso machine! Santa dear, an extended stay in Paris s'il vous plait. Oh and a really good flash for my camera so I can kick this stupid pop up flash to the curb!
And Wayne's right, we need to stay focused on the new camera.

Christmas starts early (I see a Evry, they are already beginning to prepare the illuminations) and you already have your list ;o)). I have already my wonderful Christmas with my NYC trip, I want nothing else ;o)

Illy coffee is one of the best, I use that! Why don't you get a nice old moka??
A new wardrobe for me, Santa!

Oh, Illy! The favourite brand of very posh people in France...
No, I have not thought about Christmas yet. Hope my husband will do!

Santa..!? I would like a new camera!! I'll write to you which one in the next few weeks! I promise I will continue to make coffee with the old fashioned usual Italian Moka coffee pot I have. It still makes excellent coffee, also for the next coming years!

Seems like it's way too early for merchandising for Christmas...we haven't even enjoyed Halloween or Thanksgiving! I do love the photo with lots of red. Very bright and cheery. Yikes - a $400 espresso macine?

Our big visit to NYC for the holidays is my wish come true.

Well, after you have drunk about 150 cups of espresso then the danged thing will start paying for itself.

Merry Christmas!

But Ming.... I thought you didn't ever cook?
Doesn't making espresso on an espresso machine count as cooking?
I think it does!

Oh boy, Xmas song already! I'd wait a while - we just started the fall;)

Ming, that espresso machine does look very nice (I love its design and color). Would certainly love to have one. With that much money to pay, I'd rather have a nice new pocket camera though ..., which I think will rank high in my Christmas wish list.

;D

Its too early to be thinking about Christmas Ming! But this is very stylish indeed. I don't drink coffee but this would look nice on my kitchen side too!

Nope - I don't have a Christmas wish list yet, but now that I've seen this racy red espresso machine, I think my list has just started! And on top of that, I LOVE illy coffee, so a years supply of that would be great too! ;o)

This is beautiful. And I disagree with the coment before me: it is never too early to start a list. Who knows, maybe Santa reads your blog. It would be silly not to let him know.

Oh it is SO beautiful, but Ming, get a Nespresso machine. Coffee comes in measured capsules and it's the best ever. Always fresh, always perfect. www.nespresso.com It's one of my delights in life.

Gorgeous machine and it is in my favorite color, too. I'm not making a list, but if I were, I'd be asking Santa to help me find a job with dental benefits. Soon!

Oooh, I love this, Ming! I'd fight you for it! :-)

I want Santa to bring me someone to buy my house!

They look good, but try cleaning one.... it's not fun.

I think I'll go to my corner Starbucks for an espresso.

I gave away my machine like this--far too complicated for me. :-)

omg who doesn't want a coffee machine on their xmas wish list!? XD i love love love the italian designs!

Hmm, that definetly is an interesting coffee machine! I'm not really a coffee person, wouldn't have had a clue of how to make one until I started working where I am now! Still don't drink it though!

For christmas, my best friend says she's going to get a Rainbow Lorikeet off her aunt who breeds them, and so I'm trying to get my parents to buy me the cage for it! =)
