We had a strong wind storm a couple days ago and it must blown the Lexus sign of its perch on top of this building next to Queensborough Plaza. What's more interesting is the little ladder that goes up the side of the building where there is a door. I wonder who lives in there.
So what is the oddest place you have lived before?

Wow -- I knew it was windy the other day, but this is surprising. Great photo, Ming!
Oddest place I've ever lived? That's easy: Back in the '60s, I shared a sleeping bag on the cement floor of an abandoned building in Essaouira, Morocco.
I LOVE this!
A wonderful shot, ming. I'm hoping that "little ladder" is only an emergency exit. I once lived in a loftlike apartment while the landlord and I were working on it. I came home from running errands one Saturday to find he had cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling. When he heard me come in, he poked his head through the hole from the roof and excitedly told me, "I'm putting in a skylight!"
Um, I think this door leads to that scaffolding with the catwalk, but nice try!
I lived for two years in a cabin without electricity on the edge of a redwood forest. But Alexa has me beat there.
eff lexus.
Hope the person who lives there doesn't sleep walk.
Ironically enough, Toyota/Lexis is NOT on the chopping block!
a great shot...not often do we get a backside view...!
Odd place? Uh, I've lived a very boring life.
