Just a few little things at Restoration Hardware. I am too busy drooling over this red scooter. If it were bright red I'd be right up there to claim it. It's almost as great as that red pickup in my neighborhood I wrote about. Va va voom!

Hi..I couldn't believe the empty shops I saw in & around Cork this week..it was a grim reminder of how a lot of small (& big retail businesses) have not survived the recession. Scary stuff.
I did do some shopping after xmas..got a few bargains!

I did indeed but now focusing on spring/summer and saving up as have seen a lovely vivienne westoood dress which i just love! has the snow gone in Neew York?
Hi Ming!
I did a few this week, just a pair of boot I needed! but in Madrid, shopping are full of people! No matter what kind of crisis occurs, shops are always crowed!
PD. do you miss Rome? The scooter is so italian :)
Thanks for the tip....I'll be right over with my Barney's credit card.
Not sure what Barney's sells, but the words Clearance Sale would draw me right in!
I din't shop after the holidays but I did buy myself a new laptop for Christmas!!
Hi Ming! Is that me who took too long to come back here or was it your stay in Rome that was too short? ;)
Anyhow, loved to see the Piazza di Spagna again (with the «Nivea Box» - that's the Carabinieri blue car - always there... ;))
And Mercer St. was superb on your picture. Have to get back to NYC!!!
Have a great week!

I exchanged a Christmas gift I received for two handbags that were on sale - does that count?
Nice Vespa. A Roman purchase??? ;o)
Forgot to say, I want that PEACE T!
Nope! But, I do regularly park my Vespa GTS 250 (like this one only bright red) on the sidewalk ... and enjoy being able to get away with it! -:)
No, I too had a "hippie holiday"—as in just like back when I was a hippie and had NO money whatsoever.
Barneys holiday windows are always fun, but the scooter makes this shot. Did you see who owns it?
This is like a swinging '60's in London image. Online sales yes, films, films, and more films.
I'll take the Vespa, thank you very much.
This photo reminded me instantly of an ad on TV over here. It's advertising underwear, I think maybe for Target, or Kmart...or BONDS...gah, my memory isn't that good!
