an event that is expected, with these parties and these colors.
Happy New Year to you, Ming!
The economy rebounding, clarity about where I should live, and more readers! Of course, above everything, I hope my family, friends, and I continue to enjoy good health.

新年好!
Excellent for Lunar New Year. And do you know why red is used for Lunar New Year. I explained one tale of why on my website for today, which also shows photos from a Lunar New Year's dinner we had on Saturday at a friend's house. I am glad a few others are posting photos of this important celebration. Now the question is, did you receive any red envelopes?
Gung hay fat choy!
May the year of the Ox bring your good fortune.
I hear that the Ox is Pres Obama's year too... so perhaps that means good fortune for the USA.

Kung Hei Fat Choi to you, Ming! I'm wishing for more time to take pix for my blog (good luck) and that it might ever be as good as yours. And it might be nice if all of our 201(K)s would go back to being 401(k)s! Wishing you all the best, President Obama --
love.
And a Happy New Year of the OX to you, too!
What would I like to see in the year ahead? Well, I'm a college student, so I want to get into nursing school next year. This photo is great. I would love to see some of the actual celebration these decorations were for!
Love all the red! Great shot. Happy New Year to you, Ming.
In the new year-help for this really horrible economy....thousands of jobs lost today!
