Mercer Street

This is Mercer Street looking north from Prince Street in SoHo. This photo was taken a couple weeks ago when the weather was dank and really cold. I think that was the reason why the street was empty.

It's below freezing in NYC today. What is the weather like where you are?

Mercer Street looks beautiful. I haven't been down there much...

Reasonably cold and no snow, pretty good for January if you ask me. We're of course celebrating another subway day.

I almost hate to say it but here in Phoenix it's around 75 degrees. I actually had to turn on the air conditioning in my car after it sat in the sun.

Its cold and damp. The snow has all melted and it is meant to be very windy over the weekend. Time to batten down the hatches!

Snowy and Sunny here in Utah. Love the picture. Makes me want to say, "Get out of the street!" though. :) Love the bricked street.

Great photo, Ming—and I'm sure it's just as cold in Brooklyn as it is where you are :~}
Glad to be back, or not so much?

Mercer never looked this good. Up there on the left beyond the trees is NYU and the Courant Institute where I worked in the 60's. Then you would be taking your life in your hands walking down Mercer below Houston. Today, it's trendy.
Go figure. But I guess that's a change for good?

We have a Mercer street in Seattle too, but it doesn't look this good.

Love the brick street, the atmosphere of the ironwork. Lovely shot, Ming.

I love that some NYC streets still have cobblestones. Great photo!
