Empire State Building

Here is another view of the Empire State Building as seen from 34th Street and 7th Avenue, outside the Macy's departmental store.

So have you been to the top of the Empire State Building or any really tall buildings?

Hi Ming
I just had to make a comment on this....your photo is right on spot, from the shaded building, to the sun reflecting on the golden dome and then of course your main subject the great Empire. I was there when I was l3. You know..you are really good at this fun thing...photography Dee Dee

I was there in 1992, it was cloudy, and I couldn't see anything! I was 12, and I just wanted to go up there, didn't listen to my parents' warnings.

Last year I visited the Top of the Rock, which was awesome.. The view was great, Central Park to one side, and Empire State Building to the other.

Went up it twice when we were in NYC 3 years a go. Once in the day and once at night. It was an amazing view!

Yes, but not in several years! I really should do it again sometime - take one of those days where I act like a tourist in my own city!

Took the elevator/tour to the top in May of 2007. What a few and what a sense of history. Have photos of the elevator dial on the top floor.

Enjoyed looking down on those little "yellow cars" zooming everywhere. Great views all around as it was a very clear day.

Great photo, Ming.
