This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago when we had another snowstorm. I was walking to my local diner for brunch when I saw these guys playing soccer in the snow. The concrete park usually looks gray and depressing but the blanket of snow changed the entire scene.So when was the last time you went out and play in the snow?

HUmmmmm, about a year ago when we got 1/2 inch and it was gone by noon? We live vicariously through all of you YANKEES!

I just got back from a trip to Finland. Did plenty of playin' around in the snow - my soul feels a lot lighter now. Ready to take up the office responsibilities, with a super serious face!
Sadly, never, since I moved to the city! I went sledding and skiied when I lived in upstate NY as a kid though!
That would be Christmas Day in Central Park while playing tourist in NYC. Cold, clear and lots of fun.

A long time ago, unfortunately. We got a little bit of snow in Paris this winter, but then they closed the parks!

Last time I played in the snow I literally broke my butt (i.e., tailbone) sledding at midnight in Prospect Park with my kids—and that WAS the last time I played in the snow!
I am play football (soccer) tonight and it might well be in the snow from the look of the weather! I notice in the picture the chap nearest the ball is wearing an Arsenal shirt, that is my team :-)
