This photo was taken yesterday afternoon at the Ports 1961 show at Bryant Park. The woman with sunglasses on is none other than Anna Wintour, the most feared woman in all of NYC. She is the person who inspired the character in "The Devil Wears Prada".
So who were you most afraid of when you were younger?

bravo, you are a superb reporter, you have succeeded in taking a picture of the famous Anna Wintour (with almost a smile). nice prize
What a catch! Great photo!
I was most afraid of my dad! He had a bad temper, and when he got upset he'd yell a lot. I married a guy who's just the opposite - very calm and even-tempered!
This is such a fabulous photograph, Ming. Well done! Not only of the famous AW but look at all those faces - for instance, the lady behind AW, the faces along from her - well all of them. Absolutely super duper wooper and all the other oooopers. The light on the faces is so good.
Brilliant photo of the 'Devil'.. Hehe I can't really say that as she is actually British.
Also the girl sitting directly behind her on the phone is beautiful.
Wow, looks like you got into a show. I missed fashion week in Paris. I was on vacation at that time. Bummer.
Looks like she's giving you the evil eye! Great catch!
oh my, the venerable anna wintour! and grace coddington too? great nyc shot!
Great Catch! She does look a little scary!
She is a taskmaster but she is not as bad as her PR makes her out to be...
Wow, Ming, the terrible Anna Wintour...!
How could you be so close to the catwalk?
I was really scared of my maths teacher....yes...!
So that's her, huh? WOW - you scored a great shot!!
I was afraid of my first boss...he yelled a lot.
Brilliant group portrait, Rembrandt or Holbein in 21st Century Manhattan. None of those women weigh over 110 pounds. How the heck did you get in there?
Who was I afraid if when I was younger? Um, screaming crazy people in the subway. And dogs.
Wow, Ming! What a fabulous photo—bravo!!
Gotta say, though: AW's kids went to the same school as mine and—at least out of the office—I thought she was a perfectly nice person. I know she's passionate about Vogue and its success (like Miranda Priestley), but I doubt she deserved "The Devil Wears Prada."
I don't know how I found your blog, but I was most afraid of the Catholic nuns when I was young. They were shadowy, fierce, frightful and MEAN in their flowing floor length black habits. Quite the opposite of the fashion week photo in your blog.
Great photo! Wish I were there...
I don't know how you managed to get so close to the famous AW, of course in fur and sun glasses!
Oh my god Anna! this is such a cool shot, can't wait till the day when I can see all these with my own eyes.
Didn't you get her last time? Lord Ming, she'll have the police after you for stalking! HA She scares me right now. Tough cookie.
Afraid of ? 1. Snakes 2. Piano recitals
V
Do you have a press pass? Or a great telephoto lens? I too wonder how you got this shot...do tell! Inquiring minds wish to know!
neat that you got to see the show and the audience, too. I'm jealous!
Way cool! She looks like her too doesn't she! Hmm, sunglasses inside? Never really got that!!
