This photo was taken from behind Atlas (installed in 1937) and looking upwards across 5th Avenue at St. Patrick's Cathedral (completed in 1878). The two glass buildings on both sides of the statue is part of Rockefeller Center.
So what did you have for dinner last night?

I like the juxtaposition of these symbols of the old and new Roman religions. It's great!
A cheese pimiento sandwich while watching "Watchmen!"
Hilda had it right! Great shot.
Yesterday at dinner a real italian gourmet food: hot dogs!
And don't ask me why...
Dinner last night: Home made chicken pie, sliced new potatoes seared in olive oil, and fresh green beans!
And mango juice to wash down my calcium pills!!!
I had worked up a healthy appetite after being at a Scottish Country Dance workshop all day.
Slow cooker Chilupe, one of the 3 finalist recipes in the Good Morning America slow cooker challenge (Recipe is online). It was delicious. Then a glass of wine at my neighbor's. Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies for dessert.
Love the picture of Atlas.

Dinner? Oops, forgot to eat dinner. But I had a really yummy brunch today.
Wonderful contrasts .. dinner last nite was actually a late lunch toasted sour dough bread w/swiss cheese and Zabar's tuna salad .. washed down with a large mug of spiced tea
And you?
A unique vision. I don't think I've seen this particular view before. Nicely done!
No dinner yesterday! Huge lunch... ;)) But today, there was lobster (it's five hours later here; we just finished... ;))
Do you love what you do? What a terrible question... even worse the answer!!
Have a great week!
Blogtrotter, still posting on India...
